Thank you I think I can tackle this .. I'm having trouble finding what is actually wrong .. so do what I am able first
Great job. Thank you for sharing details that a newbie like me, might not know. It’s very helpful. 🤙🏽
Thnx. Good camerawork
Excellent video thanks
Excellent video thanks a million you save us some $$$
Any idea what the issue would be if my car shifts into gear and I can see it on the dash but the trans isn’t engaging
Great video! My Xterra had the same issue. I fixed it temporarily with a string and was able to drive home. This saved me money and time.
Those words "catastrophic failure" really do give me the chills. I'm off to give my 2013 Rogue with 153,000 miles it's second CVT fluid change right now. This video prepared me last time and helped me again today. I'm expecting 200,000 or more from old Bessie.
Thank you for this video. Any other mechanic tips on 2011 Nissan Rogue that can help or avoid major problems.
Can’t thank you enough!
good vid. have same problem with nissan maxima 2001. but it never came unhooked. the symptoms were a no-start like when a range sensor goes bad or needs adjustment. it been like that for 4 years. if it happened in P I would have to move it to N and back to P or start in N and it started. as a workaround
I also have water collecting on the driver side floor nearest the door. Please help.
You have helped me and I am sure so many other people who know nothing about maintaining their cars. Thank YOU!
It takes 8 quartz atheist to filling tho
Thanks you sir for such a detailed video. It saved so much money for me. Mechanic said almost $500 for it. But it was so simple easy fix. 😊
Nope sold it it 2020, at 250k miles still running good.
How about the filter change? What type of filter should be used?
Thanks
thanks
This one only lasted me about 7 years and recently needed to change it again on 06 Nissan frontier
awesome video! when I saw you bought the book I thought this guy knows what he's doing keep it up!
Nice and very easy to follow you made a good video , by the way did you replace the Copper washer on the transmission drain plug before putting the plug back on the transmission ? I Will look at IT again just to make sure that I am not wrong . Thanks a lot for your Sharing .
Gracias
Thank you 9:14
This very simple and concise vedio Great work
If it's $100 just for the fluid, is it worth doing yourself?
Hi there need to change the transmission filter too?
Thank u 😅
Thank you!! I just got HOME with my Xterra! It was an easy fix for 30$ (Amazon). That saved me about 400$ plus a tow!!
Should we warm up the car first before changing the oil? Or better to keep it cold to make sure all oil are collected down ?
You are a Blessing! My 17 yo watched this video; and replaced the grommet himself! What kind of lube did you use? He’s having trouble getting the grommet onto the post. TIA ☺️
Fantastic video. Save me lots of $$$, thank you brother.
The video was fantabulous!
You didn’t change the little paper filter inside the cooler Jajajaja
Thank you for the video.
I have the same problem. I was told the shift cable broke and had to be replaced. $450. They never checked the grommet.
Very helpful advice, I thought my transmission went out when it was not changing gears. My mechanic was going to charge me $300 to fix it. It cost me a whole $15 dollars for a simple shift cable bushing replacement. Thanks again.
Yeap today was u this video helpful. Until I buy the rubber grommet. Plus I watched one of these videos before and didn't know why. But I watched it and glad I was able to fix it temporary where I was and now I just will take it easy shifting (automatic) until I get the piece😭👍🤣
I had the hardest time with this. I wanted to comment in case another person had stuck a hard time. My hands are cut up, I stabbed myself with the screwdriver multiple times, I lost the bushing 3 times. This was the hardest thing I've done and I've replaced Cam sensors. So, using a coat hanger to hold the bushing on the cable is good, but it got in my way more than anything and when I finally got it on, it was without the hanger. Stretch it out with pliers really good and dunk that bad boy in lube . Then it worked perfectly. Good luck!
That was an excellent presentation I have an '09 Nissan rogue and I had a hard time trying to locate mine until I watched your video and then I found what I was doing wrong now I have it right The car is driving very quietly now thank you🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Bro you very good at what you do, your voice isn't monotone and you covered everything needed to know. Love your video very helpful
I believe this what happened to my 20132 Xterra today-the gear shifter looks exactly like the video-but the car won’t start either-should the car start after fixing the bushing?
When mine broke the car engine still ran, i dont think the broken bushing will cause the engine to not start. Larry
I realized that once the car was turned off it was still in park, which made it impossible to start. Long story short-I ordered the little orange piece from Amazon, took apart the section and fixed it! So stoked! Thank you for this amazing video!
Good works
Bro this whole video was helpful, I really wanna thank you for helping me get my car back on the road. Your awesome
I’m glad it helped, comments like yours is why I make videos. Larry
Ty, I'll be keeping up with it.😊
Hows your transmission running since you last did this video?
should change the filters as well...
Nice and clean and straight to the point. Great tutorial!
You didn’t change the filter.
No filter change?
